Follow seismic data from the station to your computer--

A single connection allows data to flow from the station to the LISS, via the local internet service provider through the internet to the server.  As the data flows through the LISS, data are locally buffered to fulfill requests of older data and for archiving purposes.  The LISS resides at a communications center with sufficient bandwidth to handle multiple users, making a copy of the seismic data available to anyone connecting.
